Chernobylite Breaches Console Containment and DLC Roadmap Announced!
Following a successful PC release this past July, the sci-fi survival horror RPG, Chernobylite from developers The Farm 51, is now available for PlayStation 4 (Digital+Physical) and Xbox One (Digital) as well! In addition, a DLC roadmap covering 6 DLCs across the next 14 months has been revealed.

The game will have backwards compatibility on the PS5 and Xbox Series S|X although a next gen release is slated for the near future. Once the the next gen version of Chernobylite is released, stalkers, who own the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One versions, will receive free, automatic upgrades to the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S versions, respectively.
Stalkers looking to get a physical version of Chernobylite for PlayStation 4 will be able to purchase a copy from their local retailers in North America as of today (September 28), and on October 1 throughout Europe. The PlayStation 4 physical retail edition of Chernobylite features a detailed digital map of the Exclusion Zone, digital postcards, a digital poster, and a digital artbook, ‘The Art of Chernobylite’.
Chernobylite’s console release isn’t the end of its story though. More great content is planned to be released over the next 14 months in the form of 6 DLCs (including paid and free content). Each DLC will introduce a mix of new missions, monsters, weapons, game modes, and much more with the first two coming this Halloween and Christmas.
